Psycho Ward Churchill and that hat! Wherever he goes, he has to have some accoutrement that reminds people that he's "the tenured Tonto," a pretend American Indian. Does he really think people are still buying his routine? What a joke!


My dad, who grew up on a farm in Kentucky wearing overalls, would look about as much like an Indian as Psycho Ward Churchill does.


But I have to admit -- for a jackass and a charlatan, Psycho Ward found the perfect bunch of suckers to gull, and made a profitable business of his charlatanry. Not everybody is as big a sucker as a University selection committee.
